Machine Operative

Major Recruitment are recruiting a Machine Operator for our prestigious manufacturing client based in New Mills, Derbyshire.

Job Title:

Machine Operator

Shift Pattern (Rotating):

Week 1

• Monday – Thursday: 06.00am – 14.00pm
• Friday: 06.00am – 12.00pm

Week 2

• Monday – Thursday: 14.00pm – 22.00pm
• Friday: 12.00pm – 18.00pm

Pay Rate:

• £12.95ph
• + £1.86 per hour shift allowance (afternoon shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring production targets are met
• Carrying out quality checks
• Adhering to health & safety standards
• Keeping work areas clean and organised

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous machine operating experience preferred (training may be provided)
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Good attention to detail
